The speech pathologists working in this clinic are registered allied healthcare professionals. They assess, diagnose and treat children and adolescents who have difficulties with the development of their speech, language and/or literacy skills.
clinic has four locations: Ashgrove, Stafford, Sunnybank Hills and Southport on the Gold Coast.
Jill and Jane both have over 30 years experience with children and adolescents who present with communication problems in the areas of, speech, language, early stuttering and literacy skills. They have worked in a variety of education, community, health and hospital settings in Australia and Canada.
Combined with this experience they are also part of the Continuing Professional Development Programme run by Speech Pathology Australia. This programme ensures that members keep up to date with new developments in Australia and from overseas. The letters CPSP after their names stand for Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and refer to the above programme.
Staff employed at the clinic are members of Speech Pathology Australia and, when necessary, are mentored by the directors of the clinic.
